This is ridiculous. Jeb Bush is now defending Jim Acosta from earlier today when he tried to bully Trump at the press conference.
The media is not the enemy of the people. The freedom of the press is protected by the Constitution. Presidents never enjoy pointed questions from the press, but President Trump should respect their right to ask them and respect Americans enough to answer them. https://t.co/JY3eAwX8RH

Hey Jeb. No disrespect, but instead of watching that doctored clip from WMUR, you should watch the full clip that shows Trump answering Acosta’s questions for almost a minute and a half. He even gave Acosta a follow-up question. It was only when Acosta tried to argue with Trump, then refused to allow Trump to move on to another reporter, that Trump shut him down.
Seriously, anyone watching the full clip can see that Trump answered his questions until Acosta became a bully.
In case you missed it, here it is again:
Of course, Acosta was very appreciative of Jeb Bush’s defense:
thank you Governor Bush.

This is just another reason why I couldn’t back Jeb Bush in the 2016 primary. What was it Trump called him? “Low energy Jeb”. Heh. There’s a reason it stuck, because it fits. It’s this kind of ‘low energy’ that would have made him a terrible president, especially when it comes to taking on the media.
