Jemele Hill says blacks don’t call out anti-Semitism because they’re afraid of being called back-stabbers

In a really interesting interview with Jemele Hill, the lady who got in trouble with ESPN for calling Trump a white supremacist, she admits that blacks are afraid to call out the anti-Semitism of people like Nick Cannon and other black celebrities and sports figures because they don’t want to appear to go against the black empowerment movement. Her comments come at about the 6 minute mark:

I want to be careful here because she does not ever say black lives matter movement. She is very nebulous about what it is that blacks would be against if they called out anti-Semitism. But it’s clear that they are afraid of many people in the black community who simply oppose the interests of the Jewish community and that of the black community.

To her credit, during the interview, Jemele Hill admits that ESPN was right to suspend her for her own comments that offended the Jews. And the entire point of the segment is for Hill and Don Lemon to say that black people need to call out hatred no matter who it is aimed at. And that is a good thing.

BUT, even Lemon admits that the black community freaks out if he even talks about anti-Semitism and they start attacking him and accusing him of being the black struggle. Interesting admission that you don’t hear often…
