This morning Joe Biden was on Good Morning America where he gave a stunning answer when asked about his comments during the Clinton impeachment where he clearly opposed impeaching a president with a partisan vote. Watch (it’s cued up to 45 seconds):
Biden specifically decried a partisan vote during the Clinton impeachment, saying that no president should be removed from office just because one party enjoys a majority in the House or Senate.
When asked why it was wrong in the past to use partisan votes for impeachment, but not now, Biden made a stunning statement: “Because it’s not a partisan impeachment.” Umm…what? When pressed that only one party voted for impeachment in the House, Biden dismissed it, claiming that it doesn’t mean that the facts are in dispute that Trump violated the Constitution…or something.
If Trump had made a declaration like Biden’s in the past and then gave this kind of answer today in an interview, he’d be laughed on the “stage” by the media mocking how stupid he is, or how much of a liar he is, for claiming Pelosi’s impeachment isn’t partisan, when it’s the very definition of the term partisan. But so far crickets have made more noise than the media about this interview. Gotta protect Old Joe.
This shows not only the utter corruption of Biden, that he would blatantly lie like this on national tv, divorcing fact for reality, but the utter corruption of the media that they haven’t seized on it and mocked the hell out of him for it.
