Joe Biden’s $320 million humanitarian pier for Gaza is turning out to be a disaster

The pier demanded by Joe Biden in order to get humanitarian aid into Gaza that cost American taxpayers $320 million is turning out to be a disaster.

It was reported today that the man-made pier was being moved last night due to rough seas when it ended up running aground in Ashdod. Another ship tried to rescue the pier but that didn’t work either:

Floating pier update: A small U.S. military vessel was towing the floating U.S. pier back to the port of Ashdod overnight due to poor sea conditions, when it got disconnected and ran aground in Ashdod, a defense official told @JDiamond1

A separate US vessel went to try to rescue it but was also beached after a cable got caught in the propeller. US working with Israel to get both vessels back out to sea.

The statement ends saying the pier remains fully functional. Yeah, that doesn’t sound right but whatever.

Here’s some interesting responses to the news…
