John James, who lost last year in his race to defeat Senator Debbie Stabenow, is announcing today a new 2020 campaign for the Senate in Michigan:
We are heading in the wrong direction as a country and our leaders in Washington are failing to lead us toward a better and brighter future. I believe I can help lead Michigan toward that future we deserve, and that’s why I am running for US Senate: https://t.co/OuKL4FfSjv

James will be running to unseat Michigan Senator Gary Peters.
Here’s an interview he did on Fox News this morning:
While James did lose to Stabenow last year, The Hill reminds us that he won “the most votes of any Republican at the top of the ticket in Michigan in the last decade”.
So if there’s anyone to take the fight to Peters, it’s John James. And with it being a presidential election year, hopefully James can finally unseat a Democrat and begin fighting for us in the Senate as he has done in the Army.
