Did you know what John and Cindy McCain had a second daughter?
Her name is Bridget and she apparently never speaks out about politics…until now.
@realDonaldTrump Everyone doesn’t have to agree with my dad or like him, but I do ask you to be decent and respectful. If you can’t do those two things, be mindful. We only said goodbye to him almost 7 months ago. (1/2)

@realDonaldTrump Even if you were invited to my dad’s funeral, you would have only wanted to be there for the credit and not for any condolences.

Unfortunately, you could not be counted on to be courteous, as you are a child in the most important role the world knows. (2/2)
What she’s referring to in her second tweet is from yesterday, where Trump says he didn’t even get a ‘thank you’ for giving McCain the kind of funeral he wanted.
Trump reportedly also said “I have to be honest, I’ve never liked him much. Hasn’t been for me. I really probably never will.”
Sometimes Trump can be so petty. And he’s continuing to push people away with this kind of behavior.
Even his former communications guy, Anthony Scaramucci, says it’s stupid thing to do because, not only is it unnatural, there is simply no political upside:
“I think it’s stupid,” former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci says of President Trump’s attacks on the late Sen. John McCain.
“When you are attacking dead people, it’s not good…that is an unnatural social act” https://t.co/qWOXGpmItN pic.twitter.com/PESk5iZLVg

I completely agree with Scaramucci here. At some point even the veterans that support Trump are going to get upset about him continuing to attack a decorated veteran like this. And more and more Trump supporters in Congress are going to start criticizing him publicly for this. There really is no good to come from continually bringing McCain up and taking cheap shots at a dead man.
It’s as Bridget said above, just be respectful. That’s all they ask. And I don’t really think that’s too big of an ask either.
