Last night Josh Hawley called out a dishonest reporter for a completely biased interview with him.
It all started with this tweet from Arthur Delaney with the Huffington Post:
Brought Senator Hawley a printout of this Trump quote, but he wouldn’t look at it and said I made up a fake quote, and then he bragged that he owned me on Twitter pic.twitter.com/z8DiFeYZnj

He’s referencing a short interview he did with Hawley, trying to paint Hawley as the one who is dishonest.
But as you can see from his tweet, he’s completely mischaracterizing Trump’s statement, and this is what Hawley called him out on.
Hawley replied to his tweet “Just admit you want to see the President impeached – and you’re willing to distort & mislead to get it done”:

Hawley then decided to release the transcript of their short interview so that people could see how dishonest Delaney had been:
As impeachment circus begins, here’s a case study in how leftist “reporters” twist words and distort facts to advance their agenda. My exchanges over two days with HuffPo’s Arthur Delaney … pic.twitter.com/bSpK7zWSJ5

It was a completely dishonest and mischaracterized question from a HuffPo ‘reporter’ and I’m glad Hawley didn’t let him get away with it. Sunlight is the best disinfectant and if reporters want to act this way, more Republicans should expose them.
The Huffington Post should fire Delaney because this reflects very poorly on them and severely hurts their credibility.
