What a complete jack-@$$ to suggest that the entire Republican party is animated by racism. That’s the kind of mindset we’re battling with. When they see us say we’re proud of America, or we want lower taxes, or we want smaller government, they convert that in their evil little brains to “racism.” It’s despicable.
There is one very small way in which she’s right – there IS a small sliver of the “right” that thinks among these racialist lines, and that’s what the alt-right is about. The explanation she gives is one can you hear from the alt-right as their motivation to participate in politics. But it’s absurd to broad brush the entire right with the extremist and racist views of a very small fringe segment that most of us reject….
