JUST IN: Mitch McConnell RESPONDS to NBC News attack piece about his great-great-grandfathers and it’s AWESOME

Yesterday we told you about a despicable article from NBC News attacking Mitch McConnell over his great-great-grandfathers who, over 150 years ago, owned slaves. They attacked McConnell because he refused to even entertain the idea of reparations for slavery.

Today McConnell has responded and it’s epic:

BWAHAHAHA. Well done Leader McConnell. Well done.

In related news, Mitch McConnell also welcomed his Democratic challenger to the race this morning:

LOL! I’m sure Kentucky is gonna love this one.

And to bring us full circle…

Exactly. Totally uncanny!

  1. Have you ever watched “Finding Your Roots” on PBS? Every African American in America has slave holder ancestors… none of them have completely African ancestors… they owe themselves reparations.

Slavery was a terrible thing, but there isn’t a guilty person alive today.

  2. WHY are democrats recruiting and supporting crazy idiots who lose elections? I honestly believe that the two dozen plus candidate for POTUS are just practicing for a future election they might be able to win…America, we cannot permit any democrats to have power or authority over our nation again or America will cease to exist.

  3. If not for Mitch, we’d have a real repealed Obamacare, a wall, and a federally defunded Planned Parenthood.

So, yes, it’s a great line, but McConnell is such a turd.

    1. Wrong. The Maverick screwed us all because he hated Trump more than what he campaigned on. Get it straight (or is that allowed to say anymore?).

      1. He is NOT wrong…McConnell was the leader at the time and could not bring the GOP together because Mitch is a RINO who agreed with “the Maverick.” They are peas in a pod.

      2. @hbnolikee So you’re saying that McChinless isn’t the Senate majority leader? With better leadership qualities, he could have gotten a passing vote, but he’s a squish.

    2. @Angesilaos The republicans needed one more vote to repeal Obamacare. The final vote came down to RINO traitor, John McCain. McCain gleefully voted, no. His reason for voting no had nothing to do with what was best for the American people. It was McCain’s seething spiteful and vindictive hatred for Trump as to why he voted no.

I want turtle face, McConnell and the rest of his corrupt establishment GOP RINO ilk out of power. The GOP lied to us in 2010, 2014 and 2018 when they ran on getting rid of Obamacare.

We’re all tired of being betrayed by the RINOS and it’s up to us to end their obstructionist political careers.

  4. She just lost a House race in 2018, but let’s have her challenge the Senate majority leader…

  5. Even a blind pig picks up an acorn once in awhile….. But extra points for smacking BO with this zinger.

  6. You could see before the reporter got the question out, Mitch was salivating, waiting to answer it. He knew it was coming, and he was ready for the “Come on, punk, make my day” moment.

Now matter how you feel about him, he is the ultimate politician. Well prepared.

Well done, Mitch! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

  8. When will KENTUCKY step up to the plate and elect a conservative…instead of a RINO (McConnell) or an AOC style radical (McGrath)?

    1. @pybop Good question. As rural as Kentucky is, you’d sort of think that they would elect a real conservative.

      1. Kentucky, much like its neighbor Tennessee, is a reddish state in the rural areas but pinko blue in the cities, especially the ones with colleges and universities. I can’t swear as to the ratio, but we Tennesseans see it here too… red state with pockets of urban blue made up of college faculty and students, large minority slaves to the Demwit Party Plantation, and foreign transplants from the Indian subcontinent and Asian countries. And no, diversity IS NOT our strength.

        1. @bill-in-tennessee Sounds like Iowa. I was in eastern VA, KY and TN last week, pretty country and good people. Edit: I guess that would have been western VA.

          1. We like to call this “God’s country” and don’t like to brag about it TOO much, to keep the riff-raff out, hehehe… I live close to Knoxville but far enough away from the U. of TN that I don’t get polluted by the ideology. Glad you had good experiences here. But don’t tell anyone that, we’d prefer the rest of the country think of us as gun-toting, Bible-thumping, dangerous rednecks. Well… to be honest, a lot of folks I know are gun-toters… and Bible-thumpers… um… so. But they are some of the nicest people I know.

            1. My GPS took me on “the scenic route” near Kingsport, TN and a couple guys helped me turn around. They seemed educated and while I was on the “three hour tour” I didn’t see a single tar paper shack.

        2. @bill-in-tennessee
I saw a lot of problems with voters in rural coal country… they reflexively support Democrats, even though coal miners are strongly behind Trump now. Plus a lot of folks living way out in the sticks are 100% welfare or disability income families, and if they vote (which is rare) they tend to vote for Democrats. So an entrenched guy like Mitch is just “comfortable” to those folks, regardless of party.

It takes a real rockstar like Matt Bevin was or Rubio was (when he left the FL legislature) to get any real attention from voters.

  9. McTurtle’s retort was a zinger, but he’s still an establishment GOP RINO obstructionist.

  16. I can’t stand McConnell, but he definitely gets zingers in there once in awhile. His hatred for Conservatives totally turns me off to him because I know he would destroy us at any opportunity.

        1. Dr. Strangelove – Why not. Burger King is doing tacos and IHOP is doing burgers.

      1. @kram-nivel On the Hammer and Nigel show (Indianapolis) earlier they called her Andy.

  19. Mitch gets kudos for this one. That should shut up the media on this subject……..notice I said “should”.

  20. There are a lot of things about McConnell that I don’t like – his ability to mess with the heads of the left on Twitter is one of the things I really DO like.

          1. Ah the joys of the “Golden Years”.

How’s that old saw go? Gold in your teeth, silver in your hair and lead in your – well you know.

              1. I was thinking A$$ Doc – I was in the general vicinity though.

And you are 😈 I like that in you.
