It looks like Trump might not be acting alone in a retaliation strike on Syria for using chemical weapons. It’s being reported now that Theresa May has ordered British submarines to move within missile range of Syria:

Here’s more:

Theresa May has reportedly ordered submarines to move within missile range of Syria.

May has summoned an emergency meeting of the Cabinet to discuss the crisis over Syria as Donald Trump signalled the United States was ready to launch air strikes against the regime of Bashar Assad.

The Prime Minister called senior ministers to gather in Downing Street on Thursday after declaring “all the indications” were that the regime was responsible for a chemical strike on its own people last weekend.

Mrs May has said Britain will co-ordinate its response to the incident in the rebel-held town of Douma – where at least 40 people are reported to have been killed – with the US and France.

I didn’t realize France was also onboard. Wow.

I’m also seeing on Twitter that this expected retaliation strike will be bigger than the one in 2017.

Buckle up.

UPDATE:

Via JPost:

British Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to ask her cabinet of ministers on Thursday to approve Britain’s involvement in military action against Syrian chemical weapons infrastructure, Sky News said.

Britain was preparing to participate in action led by France and the United States, Sky News said on Wednesday.
