Two women have come forward who dated Brett Kavanaugh and issued statements defending him from these scurrilous accusations of sexual assault.
Here are their statements:
Yeah I think I’ll take the word of these past two girlfriends, who’ve issued great statements that seem in line with everything else we know about him, over the liberal accuser who never said anything until just now.
It’s also hilarious that they are both named Maura. A someone on Twitter said…
You know Kavanaugh went to school with a lot of Irish-Americans because they found two ex-girlfriends and they’re both named Maura.
Ha.
McConnell also issued this statement:

Some suggest that this means the confirmation vote will be delayed. If this is a new process, then I think it probably will be.
