After the leaked audio came out today of Mayorkas telling the truth about the situation at the border, he held a press conferencing blaming the entire situation on Trump:
Mayorkas claims that Trump cut funding to Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras which would have “addressed the root causes of irregular migration”. He also blames “ending the cruel policies” of the Trump administration or something.
This is absurd. As if cutting funding and resources to these countries has anything to do with addressing root causes of the migration surge. None of that truly matters. These illegals are coming to our border en massed for one main reason. Joe Biden told them to come. Everyone watching the presidential election heard both he and Kamala invite people to come to the border and they responded in droves. That’s why they are here. This ‘root causes’ blame is really nonsense.
We all saw Trump SOLVE the crisis at the border by making agreements with Mexico and other Latin American countries, all of which Biden destroyed when he first got into the Oval Office. That’s why they are here!
The only reason that Mayorkas is holding this press conference today is because he got caught contradicting his boss and he had to do something to shift the blame away from Biden. Honestly, it sounded a bit like a hostage video to me.
