“Kamala finally comes out with an original policy of her own and it’s literally COMMUNISM”

Late last night it was reported by the New York Times that Kamala will announce a policy proposal of her own in a speech tomorrow, and it’s a federal ban on corporate price gouging on groceries:

Vice President Kamala Harris will call for a federal ban on corporate price gouging on groceries in a speech laying out her economic agenda on Friday, campaign officials said late Wednesday, in an effort to blame big companies for persistently high costs of American consumer staples.

The plan includes large overlaps with efforts that the Biden administration has pursued for several years to target corporate consolidation and price gouging, including attempts to stoke more competition in the meat industry and the Federal Trade Commission’s lawsuit this year that seeks to block the merger of two large grocery retailers, Kroger and Albertsons.

In other words, price controls.

As many on X were quick to point out, this is “literally communism”:

His point is sound.

This is also something that Biden has long since done as president, blaming corporations for gouging prices on food and gas when it’s been his policies of trying to force America into green energy that has pushed up prices.

But calling for federal price controls takes this to another level and the Soviets would clearly be proud. This is who she is.
