Maria Bartiromo had Kari Lake on Sunday Morning Futures to talk about the border crisis that Biden still won’t acknowledge exists even while he makes a token border visit in Texas, but while they were there Maria asked Lake about her continued pursuit of legal action over the 2022 gubernatorial election.
Bartiromo noted that Lake said she’d been sabotaged by Democrats, such as Katie Hobbs, the woman who oversaw her own ascension to the governor’s mansion.
“How did they do it, and how far are you willing to take this lawsuit?” asked Bartiromo.
“There’s a lot of evidence, and we saw it play out on Election Day in Arizona when 60 percent of the voting locations stopped working as soon as the polls opened on Election Day knowing that 75 percent of the people voting on Election Day were voting for Kari Lake,” she correctly pointed out.
The lack of early and mail-in voting by Republicans keeps getting sneered at in the media and even by Republicans, but that is no reason to allow disenfranchisement. You don’t throw your hands up and laugh and say “tough break, should’ve relied on the post office.
“They sabotaged election day by printing the wrong images on the ballot, and jamming up the machines, the machines didn’t work at at least 60 percent of the polling locations, and that caused lines of two and three and four hours,” Lake said. “People couldn’t vote. They got to the front of the line, the machines were jamming, and people were disenfranchised.”
It really doesn’t matter if you think it wasn’t deliberate, or even that it didn’t affect the outcome. It doesn’t even matter if you think Kari Lake shouldn’t still be pushing herself as the winner, and should move on. None of that matters. What matters is this was treated like no big deal JUST BECAUSE THE MEDIA WANTED IT THAT WAY. Kari Lake should not let it go. Society’s elites shouldn’t be able to just dismiss the rest of us out of hand. They should be held to account to the fullest extent possible for as long as possible. It should be HARD to tell Americans to shut the hell up, not easy.
“And so we’re fighting this, and we’ve got excellent evidence, and we’re taking it to the appellate court now, we will take it to the Arizona Supreme Court, and we will take it to the United States Supreme Court if we need to, but we will not allow our elections to be stolen,” said Lake.
Good. Don’t. I don’t care what the outcome is. Make the bastards work for it.
