Keystone Protesters Part Deux: This Time It’s Earthonal!

Last week, the MRC’s Dan Joseph visited the ‘Cowboys and Indians’ protest taking place on the National Mall and ended up with some hilarious video. Of course, one person who appeared in the video several times tried to argue that it was Dan making them look bad because he wasn’t “on their side.”

Last night, Ed Schultz aired some footage that he and his crew put together from the same protest over the weekend. Surely with a sympathetic eye, Ed’s clips won’t make them look silly at all. Right?

Oh boy. We’re like, all indigenous man. Everybody is a child of mother earth and it’s, like, far out dude. Finding one hippie in this crowd is a game of numbers. Bound to happen. There couldn’t possibly, in this brief segment, produced by a sympathetic outlet, meant to portray these protesters as good and holy and environmental and .. well you know .. surely they won’t let two space cases slip into the segment. Surely.

We are relatives. Indigenous relatives. You know, because mother earth and the brotherhood of man and how sometimes we’re all like “hey bro.” Relatives!

But hey, so they’re being a little kooky. That’s not so bad. At least they’re not saying something really crazy and hyperbolic and inflammatory. That would be terrible.

Oh. Well dang. This is really not going my way. But I will say this, at least they’re not getting all domestic terrorist-y on us.

Oh. My. Gosh. I give up.
