Did the Biden administration — which consciously decided to allow a Chinese spy balloon to cross the Pacific, sail over Alaska, surveil Montana, and go on tour across the country before finally being popped over the Atlantic — did they try to make up for it by shooting down a ham radio balloon?

John Kirby was asked about it at the briefing on Friday and he wasn’t too worried about it. And has no plans to reimburse anyone he said.
He was also asked if we the people will ever find out what the objects were or their purported benign nature and… nope.
Again, SO reassuring, ain’t it?
I think the second thing is about the first thing. This is a humiliation and they’d rather keep it secret than admit it.
