The New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins took to the field in London early this morning, and they made some interesting choices during the national anthem.
The Saints took a knee – but only BEFORE the national anthem.

Entire Saints sideline kneeling as a team... for the cointoss. Not the anthem. pic.twitter.com/gVYYjjhvYg

That still pissed off some people.
Saints said they would only kneeling before anthem which I find disrespectful, but some of them still kneeled during anthem, then all stood for god save the queen. Will NEVER support them again.

I’m not sure that’s accurate – I couldn’t find any Saints player taking a knee. But it really sounds like there are people dedicated to lying about this in order to harm the NFL and keep Americans divided – the alt-right is all over it.
The Dolphins did have a few players take a knee DURING the national anthem.
For the second week in a row, American Football players #TakeAKnee at Wembley. Saints players and staff knelt before but stood for anthem. pic.twitter.com/93WVDDiGPq

And, apparently Fox News isn’t going to show the national anthem for their games for the rest of the day. Can we just play ball instead of politicizing everything?
