Krauthammer On Sebelius: This Is How You Do It If You’re Going To Defenestrate A Member Of Your Cabinet

Yesterday on Fox News, Krauthammer offered his take on the mechanics of Kathleen Sebelius’ resignation, calling it a “textbook” example of how to get rid of someone.

Charles says that history will look with amusement at President Obama’s “explanation for the divorce,” calling it the “it’s not you, it’s me” breakup.

Krauthammer says it’s a textbook case of how to unload a liability, which is fine as far as it goes, inasmuch as it was the way to do the least damage to the Obama administration. t’s just too bad we couldn’t have it done in a way that did the least amount of damage to the nation.

    1. I had to look it up. LOL!

      Definition of DEFENESTRATION

1: a throwing of a person or thing out of a window

2: a usually swift dismissal or expulsion (as from a political party or office) — de·fen·es·trate

      Awesome.

  1. The employees reflect the image of the boss and the company.
The fact that this Twit couldn’t even get her resignation right tells you all you need to know about the boss and the organization. 😉

    1. Exactly. If I had someone on one of my jobs that was so demonstrably incompetent, they wouldn’t make it to lunch time.

      1. Is this the ‘legendary C/C distant racer’ Darrell Griffin? The man who had legs of iron and the lungs of a race horse….

        1. No, football, wrestling, soccer, Photon, chess, and debate were my letters.

Track I tried, but it never really took.

  2. Seems to me that Charles has got this one mostly right. ‘RATS in damage control mode here, makes sense they want to sac her on so-called high note. They should get mercilessly hammered for their “War on Women”. However, they will take their celebratory victory lap for “turning the corner” or whatever phrase feels good at the moment and all is well in Obamaland.

  3. Yeah, I’ve been done with him for quite a while. Every once in a while he says something spot on, but I find myself disagreeing with him most of the time. Benghazi…………….it does matter.

Her replacement will prove to be even worse

  4. Forcing vulnerable Dem senators into a confirmation battle before the midterms is a “textbook” way to get rid of someone? Really Charles?

    1. So true. He’s been a day late and a dollar short with analysis throughout this administration.
