Yes Vegas has blown open its doors and it doesn’t look like a lot of people are practicing the social distancing we were scolded about just two weeks ago. And there’s a lot of people who are pissed about it:

So yes, we’ve given up on the lockdown. That doesn’t mean we’re safe, it’s just that the experts have been so hypocritical about not screaming at BLM protesters while screaming at anti-lockdown protesters, that no one believes them anymore.
This is what is going to happen. I see it so clearly. There WILL be a second wave. I don’t know if it will be bad or very bad, but it’s coming. When it does, everyone on the left will say, ‘how dare you blame the protesters when you had these idiots not wear masks in Vegas and everywhere else?!?” And everyone on the right will yell back, “how dare you yell at us when all the protesters were out not wearing masks?!” And they’ll both be right about each other, but it won’t matter because we’re hopelessly and stupidly entrenched in our partisan tribalist echo chambers. Wooohooo!
