Add Lauren Boebert’s name to the list of Republicans who won’t be voting for Kevin McCarthy.
She tweeted a few minutes ago that she will not be voting for McCarthy to be Speaker and included a video of her comments after a contentious conference meeting today.

She claims they had a deal yesterday and McCarthy dismissed it.
I’m not sure exactly what the deal was, but from what I understand it might have to do with the number of members who can call for a vote to fire McCarthy. He has conceded that five members would be able to call for such a vote, but I believe they want it to be solely one member.
Whatever the case it looks like this fight is just getting more entrenched. Conservatives weren’t won over at all in the conference meeting:
GOP PA Rep Perry says Republicans were trying to beat them into submission to support McCarthy. Says they were threatened with being kicked off cmtes. Perry: I don’t take orders from anyone in this town

Gaetz on opposition to McCarthy: Everything I heard in that meeting hardened our resolve

McCarthy says he will not drop out. Says they had “an intense conference.” Says the GOPers will naturally fight with one another. “We may have a battle on the floor”
