Lawmakers back up Chaplain the Navy threatens to dismiss for saying homosexuality is a SIN

It’s bad enough that the left is trying to force Christians who own businesses to participate in gay weddings, something that is reprehensible in the sight of God. But now the leftists in the Navy are threatening to force out a chaplain for counseling people based on his beliefs, among them being that homosexuality is a sin.

Now these were private counseling sessions in which Lt. Commander Wes Modder expressed his biblical views about sexuality. It wasn’t as if he was out publicly preaching on a tree stump to a bunch of working sailors. Yet for this the Navy still wants to kick him out.

But lawmakers are backing up the chaplain, sending a letter to the Navy reminding them that Congress has passed laws that protect the freedom of both service members and chaplains to exercise their religion.
