Project Veritas posted a leaked Google document this afternoon that labeled major conservatives, Ben Shapiro and PragerU as Nazis. They also labeled Jordan Peterson as a nazi as well.
BREAKING: LEAKED @Google doc from ‘transparency-and-ethics group’ calls @benshapiro, @prageru, @jordanbpeterson “nazis using the dogwhistles” and recommends the disabling of the “suggestions” feature. FULL ARTICLE: https://t.co/oIdcykyWTk pic.twitter.com/MyC2cOthue

The document text from the Google Group is very small to read, so I’ll quote it for you:
Today it is often 1 or 2 steps to nazis, if we understand that PragerU, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro et al are nazis using the dog whistles you can mention in step 1. I can receive these recommendations regardless of the content of what I’m looking at, and I have recorded thousands of internet users sharing the same experience.
I don’t think correctly identifying far-right content is beyond our capabilities. But if it is, why not go with Meredith’s suggestion of disabling the suggestions feature? This could be a significant step in terms of user trust.

Ben Shapiro calls this insanity because they are labeling three militantly ANTI-white supremacists as “pipelines” to nazis:
Once again three militantly anti-white supremacy voices labeled pipelines to Nazism. This is insanity. https://t.co/SCcg9SV5BI

The way I read it they are actually calling them Nazis, but let’s not quibble. It’s patently absurd for them to even be discussed in this regard and it shows you Google really doesn’t understand the right.
And this is supremely problematic because they want to be the ones to decide what is “fair and equitable”.
