Lebron James blames COPS in Kenosha shooting, says “We are scared as black people in America”

Lebron James took a moment to pour gasoline on the fires raging in Kenosha after the police involved shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday night, blaming the police and saying that “we are scared as black people in America; black men, black women, black kids, we are terrified”:

Notice that James here only has the video as his ‘evidence’ that cops could have kept from shooting Blake. In other words, he’s jumping to mad conclusions about what happened without knowing all of the facts. And he’s very confident that the officers could have ‘tackled’ Blake instead of shooting him, saying:

“If you’re sitting here and telling me there was no way to subdue this gentleman or detain him before the firing of guns, then you’re sitting here and you’re lying to not only to me but you’re lying to every African American, every black person in the community because we see it over and over and over.”

He’s so confident right? Well it turns out there’s NEW video released this morning that shows Jacob Blake fighting with police officers on the other side of the car that we could not see before:

In the video, which is hard to make out, you can see Blake fighting with cops before getting up and walking to the other side of the vehicle.

But hey, who needs this new video. Lebron already knows what happened!

This is bizarro level backward. It was Blake who was clearly resisting officers, and we knew that even before this new video came out. It was Blake who made things worse, not police officers. If he’d allowed himself to be detained or arrested, NONE OF THIS would have ever happened.

Also, it’s been reported that Blake had an active arrest warrant before this altercation ever took place:

“There was an active arrest warrant in Blake’s name at the time of the shooting, the Tribune reported. Court records indicate Blake had been charged with third-degree sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse on July 6.”

So of course the cops are going to try and arrest him, no matter how much of a ‘good samaritan’ he was trying to be – which is clearly in question based on how he responded to police officers.

James Whitlock responded to these assertions by Lebron James, calling him a bigot and a liar, saying “I’m black. I’m not scared. I’m not terrified. Neither is LeBron James. He’s lying. He and the political activists controlling him want black people to immerse themselves in fear. Fear is a tool used to control people. If you comply with police instructions, there is virtually no chance of an American citizen being harmed by police.

Exactly right!
