Mitt Romney just won the John F. Kennedy courage award for voting to impeach Trump in the Senate and apparently putting ‘national interest over party’:
The 2021 Profile in Courage Award goes to Senator Mitt Romney for his vote to convict President Donald J. Trump in 2020, and his consistent and courageous defense of democracy. As the first Senator to have ever voted to convict a President of his own party, Senator Romney’s courageous stand was historic.
I looked at some of the past recipients of this ‘courage’ award, and it’s always in the direction of someone standing up for the Democrat extreme agenda. It’s mostly Democrats, which includes Pelosi and Obama, but it’s also been awarded to several Republicans who went against the Republican party to side with Climate Change, embrace tax hikes, or push back against common sense immigration laws designed to deport illegals.
And now Mitt Romney is the newest member of this elitist liberal club for voting to impeach Trump. Well to be honest, that’s right where he belongs. Hope you’re happy Utah!
