Yesterday we posted on a tweet from Ted Cruz that put into perspective just how unprecedented it was for the Obama admin to spy on Trump’s campaign and transition team:
Wow. Ongoing spying from an outgoing POTUS on the incoming POTUS—directed by Obama himself—is unprecedented in the 243 years of our nation’s history. https://t.co/kgYE1sDHFv
— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) May 19, 2020
Well since then Trump retweeted it, saying “So True. OBAMAGATE!”, and all the libs are losing their mind over it now:
This is a fucking lie. Just more birther bullshit from racist trash. And remember, Ted, it wasn’t President Obama who told the whole world your wife is ugly, you pathetic kiss ass. https://t.co/YngLWw9PAI

That’s not what it says. That’s not even close to what it says. @tedcruz, you are misleading Americans and acting like the man who insulted your wife and accused your father of an evil deed. How sad. https://t.co/EN3NmindMq

Trump called Ted Cruz's wife ugly, Trump said Ted Cruz's father assassinated JFK and Trump nicknamed Ted Cruz himself Lying Ted. And yet, Ted Cruz still carries Trump's water wherever Trump tells him to. If you look up "craven" in the illustrated dictionary, you'll see Lying Ted. https://t.co/ShWVUmPfno

Hey @tedcruz…ya know what else is ‘unprecedented?’ A US senator shamelessly rimming the ass of a sociopath president who attacked his wife and father. You’re a pathetic coward… #TedCruz #Trump https://t.co/dognZx35Ax

Aside from just how nasty these people are, anyone notice a trend? Ted Cruz noticed one and hit back at a couple of them with a mocking style tweet, saying that “running screaming away from the crime scene doesn’t typically convey calm or innocence”. LOL!
Obama bros are all simultaneously attacking this tweet, using near identical language (Lockhart manages to avoid expletives.). It’s curious, running screaming away from the crime scene doesn’t typically convey calm or innocence. https://t.co/f18o4MGi6A

As a bonus, here’s a quote from Cruz that he retweeted a few minutes ago:
Ted Cruz on Obama’s “by the book” instruction in Susan Rice email:
"There is no book that authorizes an outgoing president to target an incoming president and to instruct the intelligence community to keep secrets from him, unless the book is Richard Nixon's Watergate special."

And an excellent short video from Cruz’s podcast on the topic:
