“Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters” – Kanye West defends Trump supporters on Letterman

Kanye West defended Trump supporters against liberal bullies on David Letterman’s Netflix show which will air in a week. In it Kanye said Trump supporters are treated like the enemies of America:

DAILY CALLER – “This is like my thing with [President Donald] Trump — we don’t have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel,” West shared, before explaining that when he wears his “Make America Great Again” hat, it’s “not about politics” but about taking away the stigma of supporting the president.

Later, Letterman asked if the superstar rapper had voted for Trump.

“I’ve never voted in my life,” West replied.

Letterman shoots back that Kanye then doesn’t have a say in this.

“Well you got me, you got me,” the he responded, before going on what was described as an “anti-13th Amendment rant.”

Letterman then changes the conversation to accusing Republicans of voter suppression. But Kanye turns things around and instead talked about what Trump voters go through and expressed sympathy for them.

They are “treated like enemies of America because that’s what they felt,” the “Gold Digger” hitmaker explained. “Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat?”

Letterman then asked Kanye, “who is doing the bulk of the bullying in America right now?”

“Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters,” Kanye replied.

I like the fact that, while Kanye doesn’t seem to hold a central philosophy on politics, that he is speaking out on this issue that we all know is true.

In fact he admits above that he doesn’t even wear his MAGA hat because of politics, but rather because liberals have tried to make MAGA hats a stigma and he wants to disarm them.

It’s laudable and I look forward to seeing his interview with Letterman.

  1. Letterman has always been a Leftist creep. And I despise Kanye. But it’s nice of him to have a momentary lapse of reason (from his usual nonsense) in this respect. Silent lucidity.

    1. @muckjumper What kind of bizarre universe have we entered where Kanye West has actually started making sense?

An ex-CIA agent pleaded guilty to spying on behalf of China Wednesday — the same day 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden suggested China is not a threat to the United States.
Fifty-four-year-old Jerry Chun Shing Lee was facing three charges including one charge of spying and two charges of unlawful retention of classified information. He pleaded guilty to spying in exchange for the two unlawful retentions of information charges to be dropped. Lee is currently facing 18-to-27 years in prison.

  3. Kanye is definitely his own person. I hated him when he dissed Taylor Swift at that awards show years ago thought he was a moron, but you’ve got to hand it to him. He does things politically incorrect and doesn’t care. Good for him.

  4. And Letterman the creep is telling Kanye what rights he has and doesn’t?! Sounds like racism to me.

  5. I disagree that he doesn’t have a say in the conversation. People that didn’t vote still have eyeballs and can see what’s going on. They still have a right to their opinions and they can still express them.

It’s too bad that Letterman found another platform. He’s a liberal jackass.

    1. @kong1967 That one jumped out at me too: “Letterman shoots back that Kanye then doesn’t have a say in this.” So does this mean that ILLEGALS don’t have a say according to Letterman? Uh oh…

At least Kanye has the RIGHT to vote.

  6. The perfect response there should have been pointing out that Letterman is now the one trying to take “my freedom of speech” away.

That’s another tool of the left. You aren’t a woman, so you can’t have an opinion on the unborn baby (as if a man wasn’t also involved). You aren’t really handicapped, so you can’t play someone who was handicapped in a movie. You aren’t Asian, so how dare you play the role of any character in an adaption for the USA.

    1. Yea, well they built a suicide pill into that one.

I’m as female, crippled, and Asian as I decide I am – and they have to accept that because I said it.

  9. The liberal left democraps are the most violent, intolerant pieces of garbage in history

  10. Dang! It’s too bad that Kayne didn’t shoot back to Letterman, “ I do have a stake in this because I’m a currently non voting citizen on your show talking about politics so that you can increase your paltry ratings. Answer why you liberals insist that illegals get the right to vote and yet they have no legal stake in our political process.”

  12. West sees a contradiction and has the nerve to point it out. Can’t do that in today’s America.

  13. The fact that he chooses not to wear the hat means the libtards have made it a stigma.
