Lindsey Graham doesn’t mince words in his comments on the House impeachment inquiry, saying he will not vote for it in the Senate because he doesn’t want to legitimize a process he feels is a danger to the presidency itself:
Graham said that the won’t vote on any resolution that is based upon hearsay and that doesn’t allow the president to confront his accuser.
He said the process is completely unfair, in that Democrats only get to call witnesses and the whistleblower is being shielded from examination, and even says it’s a danger to the presidency itself.
He even asks how Democrats would feel if they were on the other side of this process. We all know the answer to this, which is that Democrats and the media would have NEVER allowed a process like this being held against Obama with Benghazi being at the center of it. They would have created so much negative pressure on Republicans that they would have had to back down. But Democrats have the media on their side with this phony impeachment, and that’s how they get away with it. Totally shameful.
