LISTEN: Mark Levin RIPS the media over their BS criticism of Trump!

Tonight Mark Levin opened his show tonight defending Trump against the ridiculous media attacks that are coming his way from ‘Volume 2’ of the Mueller report.

Listen below:

Levin starts by asking us to put ourselves in Trump’s place of being totally innocent, yet having to put up with a special investigation alleging something you know didn’t happen.

And then to have to put up with the media claiming every day this was the crime of the century. And then to find out that your campaign had been spied on by people who pushed this false narrative along.

Levin wants to know how any of us would handle that?

On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, people on TV expect the President to be dispassionate about his vindication in Robert Mueller’s report. He was accused of being a spy and a sellout and they said he had to stay quiet as this took its course. It’s absurd to think that the president should not have a human reaction when he’s investigated for things he’s never done. He learns just like the rest of us that his campaign was spied on. Yet he’s expected to be dispassionate about all of it!

Yet again, the media is still trying to bury Trump with this obstruction nonsense, making as much hay as they can over some of Trump’s actions in the report.

Levin says it’s all BS, just like volume 2 of the Mueller report that the media is obsessed with, the obstruction volume.

  1. Levin wants to know how any of us would handle that?

Oh that’s easy. I’d quote My Cousin Vinny.

And then I’d be like, “So, back to the economy.”

I know what I wouldn’t do. I wouldn’t whip a bunch of angry, reactionary, fawning devotees up into a daily twitter civil war.

  2. I think Fox News should choose the hour that is most popular and gets the most ratings to give to Mark Levin, and let him school Americans on the law as it regards the Mueller Report.

  3. The President tweeted a while ago about the Muller report notes[by ex or present aids] possibly pointing to obstruction as not true; perhaps they are fake, exaggerated, or embellished? Perhaps the response from his lawyers will comment on those notes supposedly taken in his presence or afterwards. But the main point is the investigation went forward with absolutely NO obstruction regardless of what he might have had in mind initially.

  4. Mark was two years ahead of every single media outlet including conservative media outlets. And what is amazing he used their reporting and his knowledge and reasoning to figure out what was truly happening. He nailed it!

    1. Mark deserves complete credit for initiating the effort to examine the improper counter intelligence campaign that went after the Trump campaign.

Not only was Mark ahead of the media outlets, Mark was often attacked by the media outlets. Even some conservatives whom I really trust and admire like Ben Shapiro have been slow or resistant to recognize the facts of what occurred in the Obama DOJ/FBI.

Andy McCarthy has been on the trail for quite some time and also deserves credit for his work. Dan Bongino has also become vital in ensuring that the intelligence shenanigans that Obama’s people initiated will see the light of day.

  5. Perhaps I’m in the minority, but hindsight has me thinking Trump and the nation would have been better served if he had fired Mueller and stopped the investigation. Seems like the outrage would have been the same but the period would have been shorter and $20M+ wouldn’t have been wasted giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

    1. In 20/20 hindsight, Trump should have fired Comey on the day he was inaugurated and never appointed Jeff Sessions as Attorney General. As an outsider, Trump had a lot to learn about the ways of Washington and the political snakes that lurk under ever rock. Rosenstein should never have appointed the special counsel in the first place and did an amazing bad job at supervising it, and ensuring the members of the team weren’t conflicted and didn’t have a political agenda to get Trump. Every member had serious conflicts of interest that should have disqualified them from being on the team, including Mueller.

      1. Yes I think if he had fired Sessions the day he recused himself and replaced him quickly Rosenstein would not have been able to control the DOJ so easily.

    2. If Trump would’ve just kept his mouth shut, not fired Comey, there would not be Mueller. Trump made his own bed here.

But I’m tired of this talking point about the cost of the Mueller investigation…. if anything, it could turn a profit since real estate has been seized from Paul Manafort.

      1. Mueller going after Manafort was a spiteful act for not being able to successfully prosecute Manafort in the past. It was a personal vendetta, and while Manafort was found guilty, the prosecution never should have happened. I do NOT support a Government that abuses its power to intimidate and go after people, like Mueller did with Manafort over something that had nothing to do with Trump and Russian collusion in the 2016 election.

        1. “Mueller going after Manafort was a spiteful act for not being able to successfully prosecute Manafort in the past. It was a personal vendetta, and while Manafort was found guilty, the prosecution never should have happened.”

This sounds like a Tom Clancy novel. But the prosecution of Manafort should not have happened? Fam, you cannot be seriously defending a guy who laundered money for dictators and engaged in conspiracy against the U.S? Meh…. Manafort was trash, job well done Mueller.

        1. He got a don’t go to jail for free card. The uneven application of justice with this whole Mueller “investigation,” and the unrelenting focus only on Trump and associates and not on other obvious areas where it is highly likely collusion took place is what gets me. This was a very one sided inquisition, I mean “investigation.”

  6. Democrats/The Left – they CANNOT win unless they lie, cheat and steal. And boy, are they doing that now. I hope this backfires in their greasy faces and that they lose BAD in the upcoming election. Historically bad.

    1. @muckjumper The Dems and MSM are proof that Evil never rests. Let’s pray that their actions have opened enough eyes to make your hope a reality. God save America!

  7. So because he is innocent that excuses all the lies, him impeding the investigation and instructing his aides and family to lie and impede the investigation? That makes a lot of sense.

    1. Why was he investigated to begin with? It all started because of a lie and it is very clear the obama administration stink is all over this.
Let’s see how you behave with this happening to you and you know it’s not true. Government agencies should not be weaponized against political opponents, not in this country. You are throwing a deranged tantrum and making a fool of yourself.

    2. So that’s your takeaway? Obama and his DOJ/FBI used their authority to improperly (probably illegally) surveil and investigate a Republican campaign and your concern is that Trump lied here and there in an attempt to minimize the impact of the Democrat and media frame job that was unfolding around him?

The Democrats and their endless allies in the media tried to overturn the results of an election, but your issue is that Trump pushed the limits to fight back? Keep in mind that he did nothing illegal. Even his enemies who had deep conflicts of interest and were given special counsel authority could not show any illegality.

It just seems kind of backwards that there are those of you in this thread attacking Mark Levin or Trump while missing everything really important about what just occurred.

      1. @trytothink Exactly! The bigger picture here is that our Government is devolving into a Banana Republic where one side endlessly attacks and investigates its opponent in an effort to get them out of power to the point of wrongfully putting them in jail. That’s a scary thing that will destroy this nation and cause great suffering. I think that’s a lot more important than a wrongfully accused person complaining and saying they want to shut the investigation down.

    3. How would your react to a false partisan attack calling you a traitor? And imagine that the media takes a side in that against you?

Is his behavior excused? No, but it is understandable. He was fighting this how he knows how to fight.

      1. How did all the lies make the report better? If I was innocent I wouldn’t tell people to lie on my behalf. Seems to me a report without all the lies would have been better.

        1. would you tell people to get this over with quickly because its bogging down his ability to govern?

He didn’t conspire, yet the investigation went on (and as usualy nabbed process crimes as part of it)

        2. Just wait until you are the one accused of something by a corrupt democrat administration using tax payer paid for agencies against you. You are well deserving of that.

      2. @tracy I think we’re going down a bad path when we start saying his behavior isn’t excused or was wrong. People need to be allowed to be righteously indignant and emote frustration with situations. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to see a first class emotional abuser in action (I wasn’t the one abused). Whenever an argument started to get heated, the abuser would become calm and quiet and say “why are you yelling? I’m just talking to you?” and imply that because the victim got upset, they obviously were in the wrong. Which of course, got the victim even more upset. The Dems have successfully used this ploy for decades. It’s only since Trump that they’ve not been able to keep their cool and the masks have come off. I don’t ever want them to be able to use that false narrative again, and people on the Right who conflate passion with wrongdoing are playing into their hand.

        1. I understand what you are saying but I still think our public officials shouldn’t lie.

But that is like telling fish not to swim.

        2. @paladin I agree. In my book, you get a little latitude when people are trying to use every means in their power to unfairly frame you as a treasonous agent of the Russian government.

If you focus on mistakes Trump made while defending himself while ignoring the larger miscarriage of justice of what happened, you are grinding an axe and need to be called out on it.

    4. So when did he lie after the election? Also what got impeded? The evidence shows that while Trump complained, not only did he not stop anything, he cooperated with transparency that is unprecedented. Where were you when Obama was dubbed “The Liar in Chief” because of all his blatant falsehoods? Did you want Obama impeached?

      1. Did you read the report? There are lies throughout.

I was right here calling Obama a liar. So since Obama lies it’s ok for everybody to lie?

        1. Joe DiGenova nails it: “That’s what Mueller’s probe really was: a taxpayer-funded anti-Trump opposition research team hiding behind a veneer of official legitimacy.

For me, the most troubling part of this entire saga is that the Democrats who undermined the legitimacy of our democracy and the public’s faith in our institutions in order to push their conspiracy theory almost got what they were really after.

This was never about achieving justice for Russian election interference or obstruction of justice. It wasn’t about uncovering a grand Trump-Russia conspiracy that I doubt most Democratic politicians ever actually believed in. It was solely about weakening the president politically by whatever means necessary.”

And Tom Fenton piles on: “I’m outraged that there was this 448 page smear operation against him. And you can see why the left was desperate to keep AG Barr under wraps and to suppress and actually try to stop press conferences… The Mueller team, I’m convinced, just wanted to drop this 448 report on him, innuendo, fake legal analysis, and Barr wasn’t going to let him do that… This president is attacked in this report for defending himself… The suggestion from Mueller as well that could be obstruction of justice, potentially. Don’t tweet at me because I’ll put you in jail.”

        2. So you are equating obama’s lies to cover up his using the irs to investigate innocent Americans because if their political opinion, the lies of Benghazi, fast and furious, obamacare, the war on police, to a government backed spying on Donald Trump? You have not answered the question posed to you, answer the question and provide factual evidence. Don’t just answer have you read the report, it sure as hades seems like you haven’t.

        3. Okay, what were the lies and the significant impact of those lies. Enough people are reading the 400 page Witch Hunt Report Smear Campaign that I’m not going to waste my time. It’s already apparent that minds aren’t going to be changed as both sides claim the report supports their position.
Listen, during the campaign it became obvious Trump is a pathological liar in that he tells people what he thinks they want to hear in off the cuff comments. However, I have not seen him govern with lies as Obama did, or abuse his position and shred the Constitution as Obama did. In fact, in my lifetime I have never seen a politician work as hard to meet all his campaign promises as Trump has. I don’t even agree with many of his positions, but I respect that he’s governing the way he said he would during his campaign.

          1. However, I have not seen [Trump] govern with lies as Obama did, or abuse his position and shred the Constitution as Obama did.

            Shred the constitution? Like….

verbally defecating on the freedom of press day-in and day-out? Trying to prevent a religious group of people from entering the country?
Keeping his business in the hands of the family as he plays president?
Wanting to shift congressional approved funds for his own pet project, the wall?
            Questionable use of pardons?

  8. Like all times in history we need our heroes! What fools will we be if we can not see our or find our modern day heroes! I am so confident that Mark Levin is one of them!!

  9. Mark Levin our ” National Treasure ” ….God please if you are listening…. let him carry our banner and fight for us and save us!!! He is the only reasonable and responsible view I know that matches mine to a tee! God speed you Mark you are our and my champion!!!

  10. Go on CNN and MSNBC Mark and tell them what you are telling us. The people who need to hear this are them, not us. I appreciate you, Mark. I appreciate right scoop. As a Cruz conservative I live among a sea of liberals in the Stalin state of New York

  11. Mark is of course, on point as usual. I didn’t bother to listen to the idiot media. They will never stop attacking the President and I just hope that people get so sick of them that they’ll tune out and be open to hearing the truth. My very liberal mom has tuned them out because it’s all so negative that she’s just tired of listening to the same old clap trap day in and day out. Let’s hope that she’s typical of people on the liberal side, that they’re so sick of it all that they’ll tune it all out and not vote or change parties.

  12. “Yet again, the media is still trying to bury Trump with this obstruction nonsense…..”
In their minds, that’s their job, that’s their mission in life and they will never stop.

  13. I think Fox News should choose the hour that is most popular and gets the most ratings to give to Mark Levin, and let him school Americans on the law as it regards the Mueller Report.

  15. The only ones that colluded with Russia would be the wicked witch, Hillary, and O’dumbo. Main Stream Media will always be the propaganda arm of the democrap party. They are incapable of having the intelligence to be a little curious as to what really happened during O’dumbo years. That’s why they are laughing stocks to Americans.

  17. Levin claims that the way POTUS acted (heck, is still acting) before the Mueller report was appropriate because he was an innocent man and it’s understandable he’d be upset.

If that’s something Levin thinks, that acting in a panic and constantly commenting about Mueller and attempting to intimidate witnesses and tell them how to testify, is an understandable way for an innocent person to act…. then what would he have thought if Trump remained silent? Silence = guilt?

“Yet again, the media is still trying to bury Trump with this obstruction nonsense”

Is it the Media? Or is it the Mueller report that provides the obstruction “nonsense”?

    1. Its the media using the Mueller report nonsense.

He wasn’t charged, he wasn’t going to be charged because there is a policy about indicting a sitting president. So what was the point of the report?

It’s nothing more than a political smear and an attempt to cover up the FBI investigation.

      1. Exactly, the current AG believes you cannot indite a sitting president. The report does not give a verdict of any kind.

The point of the report was to document this moment in history and explain to the public. We were attacked by Russia, it was suspected Trump’s campaign might have something to do with that since many of them were talking to Russians and lying about it.

I refuse to believe this is anything political. James Comey and Robert Mueller were stand-up Republican guys all approved by the right, until Trump started tweeting his dislike.

        1. Ok so we agree the report was useless and nothing more than a coverup of FBI illegal spying on the Trump camp.

  18. Another insightful quote from Kim Strassel of the WSJ: “What the report shows is that he [Trump] endured a special-counsel probe that was relentlessly, at times farcically, obsessed with taking him out. What stands out is just how diligently and creatively the special counsel’s legal minds worked to implicate someone in Trump World on something Russia- or obstruction-of-justice-related. And how—even with all its overweening power and aggressive tactics—it still struck out.”

          1. @Elvis
personally I have no problems with Manafort going to prison, I just feel like he needs a lot of company. What he did was being done by multiple people, so let’s see the indictments roll in.

        1. He got a don’t go to jail for free card. Questionable use of pardons?

            1. @elviswasahero2most You obviously do not operate in the same reality I do. In your world Trump’s pimples are twisted and turned into mountains. You obviously see the same facts I do very differently, if you’re not straight up deceiving yourself. IMO you suffer from a very serious case of looking at a pot and a kettle and declaring the kettle “black”. It even appears to me that you look at legally authorized actions taken by Trump that other Presidents have taken and turn Trump’s actions into wrongdoings. That’s quite a feat.

            2. verbally defecating on the freedom of press day-in and day-out?

ARe the press beyond reproach? Are you happy with how they covered up for Obama for 8 years than all of a sudden want to try to hold Trump accountable? They deserve all the derision they get.

Trying to prevent a religious group of people from entering the country?

More leftist anti Trump talking points. He didn’t prevent a religious group from entering.

Wanting to shift congressional approved funds for his own pet project, the wall?

You mean secure out country where congress is derelict because they want to “GET TRUMP”?

            3. “verbally defecating on the freedom of press day-in and day-out?”

Grow up. The liberal press is a propaganda arm of the Democrat party. We knew that long before Trump came along and all Trump has done is to attack them back using his own first amendment rights.

“Trying to prevent a religious group of people from entering the country?”

Stop lying. Those countries were also singled out by the Obama administration because that’s where the terrorists have been coming from. Some very large Muslim nations were notably never on that list.

“Keeping his business in the hands of the family as he plays president?”

That shreds the Constitution how again?

“Wanting to shift congressional approved funds for his own pet project, the wall?”

Even some Democrats have admitted that the southern border is in a state of emergency.

You have anything else besides lies and the usual batch of TDS talking points?

              1. “verbally defecating on the freedom of press day-in and day-out?”

Yeah, even I’ll admit that was a poetic term, maybe too poetic. But Trump certainly spends way more time than a president should, disagreeing with press outlets. This reveals how much time the president spends watching television, which means he is not working.

“Trying to prevent a religious group of people from entering the country?

Yeah, Trump had to revise the ban so it could be legal, but Trump revealed his true intent.

“Keeping his business in the hands of the family as he plays president?”

That shreds the Constitution how again?

                Emoluments Clause.

“Wanting to shift congressional approved funds for his own pet project, the wall?”

Even some Democrats have admitted that the southern border is in a state of emergency.

Congress has the power of the purse, therefore when Trump threatens to appropriate funds toward the wall, he is demonstrating his lack of understanding the Constitution.

          1. I’m not equating Obama’s lies with anything. Both trump and obama lie – there is no denying that.

I’m sure when the next democrat is president you will be okay with that person lying as long as it’s not as bad as Obama’s lies.

            1. Stop throwing your deranged tantrum. You still have not answered the question asked of you.

              1. Seems to me you are the one throwing a tantrum. I just asked a question and stated that the report would have been better without all the lies.

    2. How would your react to a false partisan attack calling you a traitor? And imagine that the media takes a side in that against you?

Is his behavior excused? No, but it is understandable. He was fighting this how he knows how to fight.

But that is like telling fish not to swim.

          1. @tracy Lying is wrong, period. That being said, I guess I missed the lying Trump did in regards to this Witch Hunt.

  22. So I’m still trying to understand why they spent 2 years investigating Trump when they weren’t going to indict a sitting president for obstruction.

Seems like time could have been spent on other things once they knew that Trump didnt collude or conspire with Russians, which they knew that pretty quickly.

    1. As Andy McCarthy and others pointed out from the beginning, there was never a predicate for declaring a special counsel. Rosenstein overreached by doing so and his decision should be thoroughly investigated in the context of his conflicts of interest and any role he may have played in triggering the counter intelligence sting against the Trump campaign.

  23. And so many choose to forget that Levin was hating on Trump until moments before he was elected president. Levin spoke of threats to him and his family from certain Trump sycophants. That all changed when Levin became one of those sycophant.

    1. I hated Trump too, but he was elected and we have constitutional checks on a president and resorting to illegal coup attempts by our intelligence community or law enforcement isnt one of them.

    2. Levin was one of the largest Cruz supporters and so was I….to the point that I wrote delegates and Levin promoted him in every possible way possible!! In the real world you need to be battle ready to fight for your beliefs…..and even then to fight harder for what is right when you lose. Past history…Trump surprised us and is a good President …..and worth fighting for. You lee_jan are not God….the only one we can look to guide us!

    3. What should Levin be saying here? So, to speak truth is to be a sycophant? You should be thoughtful before you type.

      1. Remember a couple of years ago after Trump became President and whenever a Levin thread would be posted on TRS, you’d get whiner after whiner attacking Levin rather than thinking about the substance of what he was saying?

RS and the mods eventually had to put their collective foot down to preserve the quality of their comment area. lee_jan is obviously one of those who is mentally trapped and unable to move forward.

    4. That’s factually untrue and at best, misleading. Levin had like a 24 hour period where he thought that Roger Stone had personally attacked Levin with Trump’s direction or approval and Levin went on air with his threat of joining nevertrump over it. My understanding is that Trump corrected that assumption and smoothed out the misunderstanding right away.

Besides that one day, Levin was nominally supportive of Trump from the moment Trump declared and only campaigned against him while Cruz was in the running. Once Cruz bowed out, Levin quickly made it clear that although he had his reservations in supporting Trump, he had no reservations in opposing Hillary.

Since then, Levin’s has expressed some disapproval of some of Trump’s actions like many of us have – but Levin has admitted that Trump’s conservative side expressed in his administration’s policies have been very welcome.

So nobody is forgetting anything here. We all remember this stuff.

What I won’t ever understand is why some people like you are still butthurt and TDS over Trump’s win and Mark’s endorsement of Trump and vehement encouragement for conservatives to stop Hillary. I was wrong in thinking that Trump would govern like a liberal. You guys were too. You guys were especially wrong in nurturing your anti-Trump hatred and ignoring the facts of the good things he’s done vs what we were facing with a Clinton presidency.

  24. Like all times in history we need our heroes! What fools will we be if we can not see our or find our modern day heroes! I am so confident that Mark Levin is one of them!!

  26. Mark Levin our ” National Treasure ” ….God please if you are listening…. let him carry our banner and fight for us and save us!!! He is the only reasonable and responsible view I know that matches mine to a tee! God speed you Mark you are our and my champion!!!

  30. So I’m still trying to understand why they spent 2 years investigating Trump when they weren’t going to indict a sitting president for obstruction.

Seems like time could have been spent on other things once they knew that Trump didnt collude or conspire with Russians, which they knew that pretty quickly.

  33. Go on CNN and MSNBC Mark and tell them what you are telling us. The people who need to hear this are them, not us. I appreciate you, Mark. I appreciate right scoop. As a Cruz conservative I live among a sea of liberals in the Stalin state of New York

  34. “Yet again, the media is still trying to bury Trump with this obstruction nonsense…..”
In their minds, that’s their job, that’s their mission in life and they will never stop.
