LISTEN: Rush Limbaugh butts heads with “Charlamagne tha God” on White Privilege

Yesterday Rush Limbaugh went on the The Breakfast Club for an interview to discuss the death of George Floyd and the aftermath we’ve seen. Of course the topic of white privilege came up and as you’d expect, Rush completely disagreed with The Breakfast Club crew on the issue.

Listen:

The interview starts out on the discussion about Floyd, with Rush expressing his dismay at what happened and even suggesting that the believes Derek Chauvin should be charged with 1st degree murder.

Of course it turned to white privilege, with Limbaugh asserting that he believes that’s just a political construct and that it doesn’t really exist. In fact Rush said that if George Floyd had been white, we’d have never even heard about his murder.

The Breakfast Club crew of course vehemently disagreed with Rush on the existence of white privilege. But Rush challenged them on it, asking about the election of the first black president in 2009. But TBC crew insisted that it doesn’t matter who the president is, that unless they seek to dismantle the system of white privilege it will continue to exist.

As the interview was running out, Rush suggested he’d love to continue the conversation on white privilege when they had more time. But “Charlamagne tha God” accused Rush of not being interested in a serious conversation about it because he keeps denying it exists.

There are loads more in the interview so be sure and listen to it above.
