Little Boy Looks At Little Girl’s Face … Suspended!

Glenn Reynolds draws attention tonight to a Reason article from this weekend that highlights the growing idiocracy in education and other progressive-dominated areas of life. In this case, it’s feminism or political correctness or … something run amok.

Big surprise.

According to WLWT.com, the principal at St. Gabriel Consolidated School—a private institution—suspended a pair of 12-year-old boys for a day for playing a staring game with a female student

Everyone here knows the staring game. It’s one of the most common games kids play. You stare until someone breaks. But apparently in the day and age of Rolling Stone rapes and gun-shaped sandwiches, it was just too much for this particular private school.

The 12-year-olds were simply playing a game, which you’ll note the girl in question stated for the record was indeed what they were doing, and two boys ended up suspended, having never even made a faux-bomb clock-in-a-briefcase device.

Reason stresses that this is a private, not public school, and that they therefore have more latitude legally. But legality is not the issue here. The issue is the madness, the sickness, in our society. Anyone can see the absurdity in sending these boys packing for a game of stare (well anyone but the administrator obviously), but that is only a glaring example. There are a thousand thousand other less blatant examples. Boys being sent home for flirting. Toddlers being kicked out for toddler kisses. It is a war on boyhood which, ultimately, is a war on manhood.

And people wonder that there are sick, repressed, confused boys and young men in America lashing out?

At least there is one comfort: a mom with proper maternal instincts, as Reynolds notes.
