Liz Cheney was appalled by Ocasio-Cortez’s comments regarding ‘concentration camps’ on the border and took to Twitter to let her know:
Please @AOC do us all a favor and spend just a few minutes learning some actual history. 6 million Jews were exterminated in the Holocaust. You demean their memory and disgrace yourself with comments like this. https://t.co/NX5KPPb2Hl

AOC, who is busy trying to defend her contemptuous comments this morning, responded:
Hey Rep. Cheney, since you’re so eager to “educate me,” I’m curious:
What do YOU call building mass camps of people being detained without a trial?
How would you dress up DHS’s mass separation of thousands children at the border from their parents? https://t.co/OOfrrfa1Ew
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) June 18, 2019
Again this is absolute nonsense. The border is in crisis and DHS is overwhelmed with thousands upon thousands coming over the border each day.
But instead of trying to get her caucus in the House to fix this problem, or at the very least fund solutions to this humanitarian crisis, AOC would rather call Trump a fascist and accuse him of creating inhumane concentration camps, all because she thinks all these illegals should just be released into the US willy nilly to disappear.
The vice president of the National Border Patrol Council wasn’t happy with AOC’s comments either:
Art Del Cueto said he was just in one of these detention facilities in Arizona and the kids were having a great time playing games, watching movies, and eating cookies.
He called AOC’s remarks disgusting and said anyone who says stuff like that loses credibility with him because it’s just not true.
