Y’all, it’s the little things in life that make it all worth it. The little thing this time is the number of followers the presidential Twitter account will have when Joe Biden takes it over: ZERO.
And boy howdy they are steamed.
“As we did in 2017, Twitter is actively working with the US government to support the archival and transition of Twitter accounts across administrations,” the company said in a statement. “As President-elect Biden is sworn in on January 20, 2021, Twitter will facilitate the transfer of institutional White House Twitter accounts, including: @WhiteHouse, @POTUS, @VP, @FLOTUS, and @PressSec.”
All good so far. But then comes the hammer.
“These institutional accounts will not automatically retain the followers from the prior administration.”
“Absolutely, profoundly insufficient,” said Biden digital director Rob Flaherty. PROFOUNDLY? Ha ha.
The Blaze notes that other social media sites are handing over the followers, such as Instagram and Facebook.

Biden’s minions are speaking out because the poor old fella is upset about it. Wouldn’t you be if your Vice President was getting more inauguration play than you?
