Rep. Louie Gohmert, age 66, came down with Wuhan virus last month, and it made some news. He said at the time that he blamed reliance on masks for his infection, and that he’d be seeking lib-media-banned medicine Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment.
The press, when was diagnosed, put “mask-shunning” or “mask-hating” as a description of the Congressman (pictured above with the mask he wore) in all their headlines, although he was actually wearing his mask in full compliance all along, he said.
That same press say hydroxychloroquine is fake, but turns out that ain’t true either, according to Gohmert, who told the Washington Examiner it’s what cured him.
“I had a couple of bad days, but I started taking hydroxychloroquine, [Zithromax], and zinc, along with vitamins D3 and C,” he said. “And I took a steroid nebulizer for a few days to help coat the alveoli in the lungs and protect them somewhat from the COVID virus attack.”
He added, “I feel sorry for patients whose doctors are not even allowed to consider the hydroxychloroquine regimen. That’s a real shame.”
