Major companies including Starbucks – which attacked GOP ad on crime – are abandoning Seattle, D.C., more due to GUESS what?

You probably remember that fake news Seattle Times, under leadership from Kati Erwert, has been trying to force a GOP candidate’s ads off the air over a bogus copyright complaint, and that the paper was joined by Starbucks in this effort.

That ad was about the rampant crime and threats to safety in Seattle. Which you would assume Starbucks would WANT someone to take care of. It’s where the company was born. And where the company is LEAVING.

In her ad, Tiffany Smiley highlighted an article about Starbucks closing five locations in the city. But that is just scratching the surface of how thoroughly they are pulling out of Seattle, Portland, and other major Democrat cities now. Not just Starbucks, but a whole SWATH of companies, as Ted Cruz pointed out this morning.

From the article:

Starbucks announced it would close 16 locations in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., over safety concerns. Walgreens is closing five stores in San Francisco due to rampant crime. Small businesses from Seattle to Minnesota are citing crime as the reason they’re closing their doors.

“After careful consideration, we are closing some stores in locations that have experienced a high volume of challenging incidents that make it unsafe to continue to operate,” said a spokesperson by email to reporters.

Personal safety concerns. No kidding.

CNN added:

Employees are “seeing firsthand the challenges facing our communities — personal safety, racism, lack of access to healthcare, a growing mental health crisis, rising drug use, and more,” they wrote, adding that “with stores in thousands of communities across the country, we know these challenges can, at times, play out within our stores too.”

How long until there are NO Starbucks locations in the company’s hometown? Or any other businesses? Not to mention the other festering crime hole third world locales the left are creating in the United States.

And y’all it’s not just the defending of police and rampant regular crime. It’s also obviously the years of nightly riots in these places. The ad that they were trying to get off air showed a BURNED DOWN location from ONE OF THOSE RIOTS.

But the press and Starbucks aren’t mentioning that part. In fact the CNN article actually tried to make it sound like it was related to single-shooter mass shootings.

No. That’s not what these companies said, CNN, that wasn’t the reason. It’s the UNCHECKED CRIME. It’s the RIOTS. And this is only the beginning of corporations closing locations in these cities. Soon enough some of the big cities will lose ALL these businesses. They’ll have abandoned downtown areas covered in grafitti and empty buildings. Just ask Detroit.

Speaking of that ad, Republican Tiffany Smiley was on with Laura Ingraham this week tot alk about it.

The corporations trying to escape violence that results from woke radicalism are still trying to pander to it.

Unreal.
