This morning Marco Rubio made a short video discussing the surge in COVID hospitalizations in Florida and the actual causes for it as opposed to what many are saying:

Just like in the text of his tweet, Rubio makes clear that this hospitalization surge has nothing to do with vaccinated people not wearing masks, which is what Biden and his propaganda media would have you believe.
Rather, it’s simply because there are still many unvaccinated people and the Delta strain spreads faster than the previous strain(s).
In other words, he’s making the argument against the mask mandate and last week’s CDC guidance that suggested vaccinated people should wear masks indoors. And he’s absolutely right.
So yes, he believes strongly that we can vaccinate our way out of this current surge and wants as many people as possible to get vaccinated. But on the flip side, he’s not going to try and make everyone wear masks until we get to that point. Reasonable.
