MARCUS LUTTRELL: Obama should have had the families of those who died looking for Bergdahl in the Rose Garden

Marcus Luttrell said his family back in Afghanistan contacted him and told him they and surrounding villages were very worried about the release of the Taliban leaders from GITMO.

Luttrell also agrees that this move has put troops in harms way because, as he puts it, the Taliban always want more. He said that the war may be ending, but if there are still troops over there then it isn’t over and this move puts them in danger.

He did say that some of the criticism the parents are getting is a too much. Because of his own situation he believes people shouldn’t be so hard on the parents.

However, he does say that Obama should have brought the families of those who died while searching for Bergdahl to the Rose Garden to be along side the parents of Bergdahl.
