Democrat pundits and activists are pushing HARD to get media to project winner in the Arizona governor’s race on Sunday, and pressuring Secretary of State Katie Hobbs to declare herself the winner. Because that is totally normal and nothing to worry about.
David Axelrod, Dave Wasserman, and all of that creepy Twitter stalker ilk are tweeting that it’s all over because the big gain for Lake wasn’t big ENOUGH and they are super sure she won’t get enough votes from the remaining batches to overcome the remaining gap.
But that’s not calculatin’ and figurin’ on their part, it’s just them demanding what they always demand: that they just be declared the winner and Republicans shut their mouths and go home.

It is true, this isn’t what she’d hoped for, and certainly not what Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk were confidently predicting last night.
This is lower than what Lake needed, according to what this guy just said on a Facebook Live video https://t.co/P8cMUg4rZf

But this race is NOT OVER. It just isn’t. And guess what? If they project that Hobbs is the winner based on tonight’s results, and Hobbs puts the crown on her own head — hooooboy that will not go well.
Oh and by the way? Guess what still hasn’t appeared:
There were no box 3 ballots in this last batch from Maricopa county.
