It looks like Netanyahu fell only three seats short of what he needed to form a government. You might think that should be easy enough to work out in a deal, but Levin says the other parties are making it very difficult because of their hatred for Netanyahu:
1. The Israeli right has 58 seats. The Israeli left has 40. But the left needs the 15 Arab party seats (parties that reject Israel’s existence) to stop Netanyahu.

2. Another 7 conservative seats are controlled by a party run by a man named Liberman, who so hates Netanyahu he will not join with the other conservatives parties, which would give them 65 seats and a significant majority. Outrageous.

3. The people of Israel repeatedly vote for Netanyahu and conservatives but are repeatedly thwarted by the Left, the Arab parties, and Liberman.

4. Meanwhile, the left has gone to court now to prevent Netanyahu from serving and are threatening a vote in the Knesset for a bill that would also stop Netanyahu from forming a government.

5. Clearly they don’t believe in democracy and are prepared to do anything to destroy Netanyahu.https://t.co/vVD58u2NzH

You can read more about the election tabulations from the Jerusalem Post article that Levin linked. But he gives much more and better information in his tweets. I’m guessing if Netanyahu can’t get three more seats, a fourth round of elections might have to happen…
