Mark Levin took to Twitter a few minutes ago to weigh in on the phony impeachment hearing for the first time today, ripping the leftist lawyers Democrats called to try and bolster their sham case for impeaching Trump:
1. So, 3 out of 4 law professors testifying today support impeaching the president. I’ll bet it’s 9 out of 10 at most law schools, given the radical leftwing ideologues who populate their faculties. And, of course, they’ve so much in common with the people. Not.

2. Turley is the standout because he has actually explained what the history behind the impeachment clause is and the railroad job the Democrats are leading. The others are predictable leftists with Trump-hating records. Yawn.

He’s right, where are the actual witnesses? That’s another reason this hearing today is just a sham. Schiff tried to make the case for impeachment with actual witnesses and failed. Now Nadler is taking a shot at it, hoping these leftist lawyers will somehow magically convince the American people that there really is a case for impeachment as we watch more and more polls show support for impeachment falling.
But this isn’t just about convincing the American people. In fact I would argue that it’s less about convincing the American people and more about providing air cover for Democrats who are going to vote later this month to impeach Trump. Pelosi is trying to stack the deck so that Democrats can better defend themselves when voters accuse threaten to vote against them in November. Yeah, good luck with that.
