Mark Levin skewers Chris Wallace over asking if Bachmann is a flake

Levin was not happy with the way Wallace basically called Bachmann a flake yesterday and said we must respond if we want these unfair attacks on conservatives to stop. He defended Bachmann by talking about her career and suggested that she probably has a higher IQ than Obama, even before he used cocaine. Ouch!

He goes on to say that there is no way Wallace would have referred to a liberal, especially a minority in those terms and goes even further to say that the only reason Wallace apologized is because the people rose up in anger, not because of his own sensibilities.

Here’s the entire first segment. It’s a bit lengthy but it’s a good one:

I will add that this is what I like about Levin, that even though I’m sure he likes Chris Wallace and even more so Fox News, he still doesn’t give them a pass when they screw up.

  1. Chris Wallace IS Mike Wallace’s SON. So Of course Chris Wallace IS a LIBRATARD.

He has just done a better job of hiding it up until now.

Mike Wallace worked for CBS his entire carer.

CBS IS a LEFT wing MEDIA outlet.

Chris Wallace has LOST ALL credibility as far as I am concerned.

When Chris Wallace is on ANY FOX show I would suggest we change the channel.

  2. The simple fact is that any Republican who had the bad luck to be Wallace’s guest yesterday would have gotten the same treatment. Chris Wallace was pandering to Jon Stewart and his crowd. He had to prove that he wasn’t himself a conservative and would have gone after any Republican who sat in that chair in order to prove to Stewart that he could be just as insulting as Stewart.

It was a penis measuring contest.

  3. I really hope Fox news sticks with the Tea Party. It would be sickening to put them in the ranks with MSLSD and the other MSM wankers, but I will be happy to if their anchors keep morphing into liberals and progressives.

  4. Mark Levin gets it. Michelle Bachmann is a family woman, a constitutional conservative, humanitarian and scholar of the first stripe. Chris Wallace, on the other hand, is simply a son-of-a-bitch.

  5. I seen the interview and was like ~ “What?”~ when he asked Bachmann if she was a flake? I didn’t get where he was coming from at first until he mentioned the opinion of others. Of all people, I’m surprised he would ask that kind of question.

While I’m certainly not against candidates being asked tough questions, I felt it came across as an insult to her intelligence. I could see asking Charlie Sheen if he’s a flake, but a congresswoman? Not very classy and think it blew the whole interview.

I did, however, mention on another site that I wish bHo has been asked that sort of question back in 2008, and maybe we wouldn’t be in this big mess now. LOL

  6. Honestly I have wanted to see a woman sworn in as President since I was a teenager. I never believed it would take this long. I’m 55 now and sometimes I have to wonder if I will see a woman President in my lifetime.

I have watched female candidates not just criticized but *savaged* by the media – and yes, that includes Hillary Clinton. There is no line the media will not cross to take out a female candidate. Nothing is off limits: not her intelligence, her education, her looks, her family, her sexuality, her clothes, her hair, her voice, her faith, her laugh, her tears, her marriage, her hobbies, her past. Nothing. No media talking head ever seems to take a pass and to do the classy thing. They all just have to take their shot too. That includes Beck as much as Olberman.

I always liked this video, it concerns Hillary’s 2008 campaign. I know what Sarah has gone through has been even worse, but it points out that *any woman* is fair game for the media jackals.

  7. Chris Wallace NEVER asked Jon Stewart if he was a flake, or said flaky things. It would have been a fitting question for Stewart.

  8. Boy I can see the Female hate here.

Guess sexual discrimination against female candidates is fine.

There was no apology. Just a wimpy plea to people to stop complaining at him. He restated the charges about her being a flake in his fake apology. Lying flat out about what she had said. She said 10,000 – 30,0000 never once just 30,000 as did Lying Chriss. She never said whose remarks she was referring to definitely nor did she when questioned champion their validity.

I am sure that Chriss will ask Obama about his 57 States, toast to the queen or the worst claiming a dead soldier that gave his life was alive after seeing memoralized veterans in the audiance. Now the idiot that said these deserves the flake question. Those just a few of hundreds.

  9. Palin has had enough vetting for everyone combined and she comes through it with flying colors ….. I dare say Bachmann will not face the scrutiny and meanness that Palin faced … as bad a question as that was, it was nothing compared to what Palin has faced …

  10. Multiply this by 10,000 and that is what Palin has had to deal with. Bachmann gets no sympathy from me after hiring Ed Rollins and staying silent while Palin was blamed for murder. TRUTH HURTS.

    1. Well, welcome to the show everyone…. now you see the crap that Sarah Palin has had to put up with for 3 YEARS…. not just two weeks. Just a question, is Bachmann going to be able to survive the scrutiny of her personal and business and political life for the last 20 years? Lets see how that goes.

If you want to know the reality…. just think of the comment that was made recently about Bachmann being the real Sarah Palin. Think about that for a second and if your IQ is over 80, that tells you that Bachmann is going to end up running to be Romney’s VP.

Has anyone asked the question… “Just exactly who is going to take care of her constituents and their needs in her district if she campaigns for the next year”?
Or are we not supposed to ask those sort of questions?

Oh, and as for that bitch about Sarah Palin resigning her office to go fight the bigger fight in 2010, saving Alaska a lot of money in legal fees and taking her off of the public pay? Well, it appears Bachmann will stay in office and collect a paycheck and go off and campaign for over a year and ignore her constituents. Gotta love the hypocrisy.

      1. What? Wait, you mean a sitting politician is going to campaign while running for POTUS? Never heard of such a thing….why, why….someone should have told Obama, McCain, that same thing. But, seeing she’s a woman who has managed to raise 5 children, over 20 foster kids, started a business, get a higher education, been a state senator and national congresswoman, made a complete success of her life, I’d say she’s able to walk and chew gum.

        1. Well put.

Was going to kill that silly paragraph about “taking care of her consituents and their needs in her district if she campaigns” but this was good.

But just in case Philip didn’t get the point, IS THIS YOUR FIRST ELECTION CYCLE??!! Question could be asked to 95% of the Presidential candidates who have run/ are running/ and will run. You can ask the question, but no one is going to care about it because it’s stupid to think a field of candidates is going to be made up of anything other than politicians, most of whom are currently sitting in office.
