Mark Levin to Adam Schiff: You just awakened a sleeping GIANT with your phony impeachment hearings

Mark Levin was on Hannity last night telling Schiff that he’s just awakened a sleeping giant with his phony impeachment hearings:

“You just awakened a sleeping giant. You threw everything you had at the president, at the Republicans, at 63 million voters who voted for the president, and this is the best you have? You have nothing.”

Here’s more from The Hill:

Fox News host Mark Levin on Friday said House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) has awakened a “sleeping giant” of the American people in the impeachment charge against President Trump. The reference to the famous quote compared the lawmaker to World War II Japanese Admiral Isoruku Yamamoto.

“After we were attacked at Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto of Japan said, ‘I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve’,” Levin told host Sean Hannity on Fox News. “You know, Adam Schiff, you are in some ways Admiral Yamamoto: You just awakened a sleeping giant. You threw everything you had at the president, at the Republicans, at 63 million voters who voted for this president.”

“This is the best you have? You have nothing,” Levin added. “You are the Democratic Party’s Yamamoto.”

Levin, a syndicated radio talk show host, who was at onetime chief of staff for former President Reagan’s attorney general, Ed Meese, also called Schiff’s witnesses during six days of testimony weak.

“This was the weakest conga line of hand-picked witnesses I’ve ever seen in any hearing at any time,” Levin later added. “There’s no smoking gun.”

He’s right. The witnesses were weak in terms of proving impeachment. But some of them were very strong in terms of telling the truth, that the president never ordered or wanted a quid pro quo with Ukraine over these investigations of the corrupt Bidens.

The Hill notes that Trump said this morning that if the House does vote to impeach him, he wants a trial in the Senate to expose the fact that House Democrats voted to impeach without any evidence of impeachable crimes.
