Mark Steyn wonders why we aren’t talking like we were in the Tea Party summer of 2009 and 2010. He says ‘we have to move the meter’ and get away from this squishy moderate stuff! He doesn’t want someone who poll tests his lines the way he has his hair done. He wants someone who is willing and able to articulate the existential crisis that confronts America and says if we can’t have a guy like that now, we might as well pack it up:
