A massive explosion has just rocked a port in Beirut, Lebanon:
A massive explosion shook Lebanon’s capital Beirut on Tuesday wounding a number of people and causing widespread damage.
The cause of the explosion remains unclear. The government has not issued an official count of injuries or casualties.
The afternoon blast shook several parts of the capital and thick smoke billowed from the city center. Residents reported windows being blown out and ceilings dropping in.

I’m not sure what this was but based on the fact that it looked to be on fire to begin with, it could have been a gas leak that ignited. Or it could have been something more nefarious.
UPDATE: In this video you do see what appears to be fireworks going off during the first explosion. Then BOOM…….
