I wanted you to see how it looks in the document from the Virginia Dept. of Education that calls for ditching ALL advanced level math classes before 11th grade because of WOKENESS.

The document, which is also linked on the VMPI website, includes language and goals similar to those associated with critical race theory — a controversial concept that has enraged parents across the country.
The paper calls for a “social justice stance” that “interrogates and challenges the roles power, privilege, and oppression play in the current unjust system of mathematics education — and in society as a whole.”
It adds that “incremental approaches” are insufficient and that larger, transformational change is needed.
“This is repeatedly documented by the disparities in learning opportunities and outcomes in mathematics education based on race, class, culture, language, and gender,” it reads. “Immediate and transformative change is necessary. These changes must occur in multiple settings and at multiple levels including classrooms, district offices, school boards, universities, legislatures, and communities.”
Literally replacing math with ideology. But you’re a conspiracy theorist if you think these nuts would be dishonest about an election.
“There must be acknowledgment of the unjust system of mathematics education, its legacy in segregation and other forms of institutional systems of oppression, and the hard work needed to change it. The actions taken must be driven by commitments to re-frame, re-conceptualize, intervene, and transform mathematics education policies and practices that do not serve to promote fair and equitable mathematics teaching and learning,” the document reads.
“Transform.” That’s what they say about everything, that’s what Obama said, that’s what the Marxist left is trying to do, and they’ll do it at any cost.
