Matt Walsh today went after Kristi Noem for being a weak Republican and suggested the only reason people originally saw her as a contender in 2024 was because she was hot:

Honestly, I wouldn’t have gone there. I mean she is attractive to be sure, but that’s not why I thought in the past that she could be a contender in 2024. I honestly believed she was a strong conservative, even up to the point where she said she would sign that bill in her state banning biological males in female sports. But then, under pressure from the NCAA she completely balked and showed us how weak she really is, and that’s when I knew she wasn’t 2024 material. It had nothing to do with her looks at all, but her seeming strength and then obvious lack of strength and will. That’s what I would have said, but Walsh obviously chose a different route.

Let me just be clear that I don’t think Matt Walsh is a misogynist and I don’t disagree with this overall point about Noem being feckless. I just disagree with the point he made about why she was considered a 2024 contender.
