Mitch McConnell spoke this morning at the Values Voter Summit and addressed the phony controversy over Kavanaugh, trying to comfort conservative voters who are worried about how all of this is playing out with Christine Ford.

Here’s what he said:
You’ve watched the fight, you’ve watched the tactics. But here’s what I want to tell you: In the very near future Judge Kavanaugh will be on the United States Supreme Court.
That right there got McConnell a huge standing ovation from the crowd that lasted over 30 seconds!
He continued:
So my friends, keep the faith and don’t get rattled by all of this. We’re gonna plow right through it and do our job.
I expect it will play out as he says it will. This is a Hail Mary throw by Democrats but the problem is Aaron Rodgers isn’t their quarterback. Tyrod Taylor is and we all know how that’s gonna go.
