Rep. Mia Love has taken an even bigger lead over her opponent Ben McAdams in Utah. It’s looking very much like a win is the cards, and outside the margin of recount, when the certification deadline hits tomorrow.
The two-term congresswoman took her first lead on Saturday with a mere 419 votes, but the Salt Lake Tribune reports that her lead is now over 1,516 votes. She’s been gaining votes at triple the rate of her opponent as provisional ballots are tallied.
So shouldn’t someone tell her opponent? Because he thinks he’s won already. You see, he signed a letter with other democrat House members today vowing to vote against Pelosi for Speaker, and I use the term “other” loosely, as it implies he is one. Which he ain’t. Even though he is listed as “Member Elect” under his signature. Take a look:
Anti-Pelosi faction finally releases letter saying these Dems are “committed to voting for new leadership.” It is signed by 16 members, including Utah Democrat Ben McAdams whose race has not been called. Marcia Fudge’s signature is not on the letter pic.twitter.com/oVRKAWQWPx

Now, maybe Mia Love won’t win, right? Maybe she will. But is sure as heck isn’t decided, or even in the bag. It’s an open question and leaning away from McAdams.
So I”m asking ya … shouldn’t someone tell him?
