Midterms Day 6: Maricopa dump coming, Boebert may go Wednesday or later, and CNN is trash

On the sixth day of the midterm election (Yes, day six. Not five.), votes are still being counted and “cured” and tallied and “misplaced” and you name it. Because some states run things like they’re a third world country.

Let’s start with CNN being trash. In their objective data and information pages for the midterms, these journalists write:

Another high-profile contest remains too close to call: The Arizona governor’s race. Republican Kari Lake, the Donald Trump-supported election denier, is facing Democratic secretary of state Katie Hobbs, a defender of the state’s election process.

They know what they are doing and so does everyone else. They are the bottom of the barrel for ratings, their new bosses keep telling them to clean it up, but that will never happen. Because the corruption is complete and total. They do not even know how to just state the facts. They are incapable of it. They are hacks.

Moving on: In just over an hour and a half from the time of this post, we will get a big vote dump from Arizona, mostly Maricopa, that is expected to once again favor Kari Lake. The only question will be by how much.

If you watch the MSM they say Lake isn’t getting a high enough percentage from the county. If you watch right wing media on Rumble, she’s definitely got it in the bag. I’m going to split the difference and say she may or may not slay the next set of votes.

There are still 20 races left to decide the fate of the House, and the AP reported this morning that a few districts in a few states could take months to be full counted and decided. Like what the hell?

That doesn’t mean control of the House would ride on those races. But Boebert’s will probably be a key race, and as of today she remains about 1,100 votes ahead. Why is it the same as Thursday? Well because her Colorado district took Friday off for Veterans Day, and then took the whole weekend off. They don’t resume counting until Monday, but unless there’s a sudden surge for either candidate, it will probably go late into the week. Because get this:

Although ballot processing is set to resume on Monday, most counties in the district aren’t expected to post new totals until later in the week.

That’s because voters have until Wednesday to “cure” ballots that were initially rejected due to missing signatures or signatures that didn’t appear to match the ones on file, or to provide missing ID, in some cases. Additionally, clerks are awaiting the arrival of ballots from military and overseas voters whose ballots were postmarked by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Yeah that’s nuts, okay? Way to take it seriously, Colorado, I mean daggum.

Meanwhile, Democrats are high on Hopium and already deciding whether to make Nancy the Speaker again if they win. Republicans are fighting over whether or not to choose leadership in the Senate before all the races, including Georgia, are resolved. And President Trump is going to make his big announcement on Tuesday.

It’s the Neverending Election, y’all. Hope you have a comfy chair.
