I remember Meme Ross getting her hiney handed to her by Nick Gillespie on John Stossel’s show a few months back. Apparently it’s pretty easy because Mike Gallagher tweaked her enough tonight that she responded with “Don’t be an ass” right there during the interview. Mike’s immediate response made me LOL!
The reason that it’s so easy to get the better of her is because her arguments are so ludicrous. Gallagher quickly makes the point that instead of letting her kids nag her into buying something that’s not good for them, she should be a better parent and just say no, no matter if there’s a toy or not. She tried to suggest that she, of course, would never let her kids nag her into doing that, but as serious as she is about forcing McDonalds to take the toys out of Happy Meals, you know she been in a McDonalds buying her kid something because she didn’t want to say no too many times in one day. Poor lady.
Just is just another stupid example of people wanting big government to offset peoples lack of discipline in managing their own families appropriately.
