Protests and demonstrations are in full swing today at the University of Missouri, despite (or because of) the claimed scalp.

As best as can be determined from Twitter, the already existing protest area was inundated with a fresh round of press after the President resigned. As you can see, the idea of “safe spaces” has so fully permeated the minds of students they now believe that even answering questions about something they wanted to happen is some kind of experience they should be spared.

The athletes wanted to make a show of protesting (but not by missing their big games that make them famous and some day rich) and the students want to hold a huge protest to draw media attention (but not the kind where they might have to answer questions about what they are doing or why). This is college campuses to a T. They want the praise without the hardship. They want actions without the consequences. They want to get their way without it being uncomfortable.
In short, college students want good things heaped upon them and things they don’t like banned by law.
Yep, that’s a liberal.
h/t Weasel Zippers, who reasonably adds: “Because the media is so hostile to their cause?”
